VaGoldMaps: ongoing SEO and Search Console over 28 days

Google first recorded VaGoldMaps in March 2026. Impressions and clicks stayed modest through spring. In July we started ongoing SEO: titles, readable pages, and guides aligned to real searches. The chart below is from Google Search Console; we did not draw it.

Same site. Same work. People are finding it.

We did not rebuild the product for this chart. We kept the search work we started in July: titles that match what people type, pages Google can read, and guides for the questions behind those searches.

CTR near 4% means the extra visibility is still people looking for a Virginia gold map, not irrelevant listings.

How to read the since-pickup chart

For a niche product, a steady climb after search work starts usually means Google is showing the site more often and searchers are choosing it, not a one-day spike.

We cannot promise your shop the same numbers. Search moves. Competitors move. What we can show is a date, the chart above from Google Search Console, and a line that kept moving after we started in July.
